Welcome to Day 20 of our Giving Thanks project. Yesterday we gave thanks for the technology in life. What would we do without our computers, cell phones, Amazon, Instacart, Uber Eats, Netflix, and Google Maps? I am grateful for all the conveniences in my life that technology provides. What did we do before online shopping? If you missed that post, you can find it here: Technology.
I gave a lot of thought to today’s post. I know we started this whole series on November 1, by giving thanks for our health but I think it’s worth repeating because good health is something we can never ever take for granted. We have control over many pieces of our health and we should do our very best to ensure we are living life to our fullest potential.
I know that many people have been struggling emotionally, mentally, and physically since Covid-19 started back in March. This has been a hard year for so many different reasons. As 2020 starts to wind down (finally), I suggest that we give thought to what part of our health we need to work on in 2021. You don’t need to wait until 2021 to get started, you can start now if you’re ready.
In the coming weeks, we will talk more about goal setting for 2021. I am grateful that my overall health is good, but I know that I can do better. I know that I need to lose more weight, stretch more, increase my activity, and eat less garbage. I am thankful that I have the ability to make these choices for myself.
Until next time, keep looking for the goodness around you.
With gratitude –
Denise 🙂
